John stood up angrilly sending Adrianna sprawling to the ground "Don't lie to me! I helped you! I gave you a place to sleep, food to eat and water to drink, I do everything I can to help you deal with and try to get rid of that demon that's possesing you, all because I fell in love with you the first time I saw you, but now I see that was stupid. You spoiled brat! I do all these things for you and what do I get in return? Nothing! Not even the comon curtosy of a thank you!" John groweled his voice had changed and become more menacing as he had gotten angrier as he spoke, he was compleatly ingulfed in flames, he grabbed Adrianna by the throat, the fire searing burn marks into her neck, John then threw her against the wall and then walked forward towards her and grabbed her by the throat again and slamed her head into the wall.

Adrianna was choking, and coughing. The burn from the fire hurt. "J.. John.. I can ex.. plain.." She murmured.

"Go ahead, I'd love to see you try to worm your way out of this one." John groweled as he let her go, the room was fully ingulfed in flames exept for the spot below Adrianna.

"I tried to tell you before but, I can't feel happy emotions. Not love, joy, or happiness. I hate when you say things like 'love' when I can't understand it. That doesn't mean I hate you." Adrianna said, ignoring the fire and the demon's echoing voice in her head saying to kill him.

"And you thought I was going to belive that! Listen Wench! the only reason your still alive is because I find it ammusing to watch you squirm, now explain to me. Why cany you feel these emotions!" John yelled, his normally calm azure eyes had turned a firey red, this wasn't John anymore.

Adrianna looked away, remembering the past. "My mother.. getting murdered in front of me.. That demon taking over my life.." She mumbled painfully.

John's grip slackend and his eyes slowly began to fade back to azure blue, "Shut up! Stop stareing at me!" He yelled as he raised his other hand to his head as if he had a headache.

Adrianna did something that she wouldn't usually do, and went up to hug him.

The flames imediatly dissapeared and John's eyes turned back to their normal azure blue color, he leaned on Adrianna breathing heavilly, "Th-thank you..." He mumbled.

Adrianna was staring out the window which was now nighttime ~~even though it was morning a minute ago~~. A image appeared in her mind of the girl undoing the red string. "She pulled it." Adrianna said.

"What? Did you just say that she pulled the string?" John asked, he seemd more strong now and there were faint tints of red in his eyes.
