The guards came in again. "They're ready for the execution." They reported.

John quickly and permanently burned the BlackFlame Mark (From 'Hell Girl') on Alice's chest above her heart, "I've branded you with my famile's mark, it shall be a constant reminder of the burden you now carry Alice" John said.

"Good," Cai said, to the knights, a wicked smile on his face. He glared at John and said," you want to die? Now's the time."

Cai tied another rope around John's hands and led him upstairs. Before he left, cai said to a guard," make sure the princess is okay."

One of the guards approached her. "Princess." He said.

"I want.. Cai here.." Alice mumbled.

Cai was already up the stairs and out of the dungeon. He wanted to see John's death.

The guard tried to comfort her.

"I want Cai!" She said again.

"Cai's busy." The guard soothed.

OOC: I'm really starting to wonder just how interesting it would be if Alice ended up pregnant.

John walked up the stairs silently, he didn't want to get a sword through his back.

Alice still sat there in the corner. She was now crying a little. Why wasn't Cai there?

The guards didn't know what to do at this point, so they just watched her.

ic: Cai watched from the crowd as they led John onto a trapdoor, lowered a rope over his neck and tightening it. They read the charges, then let the door beneath John's feet drop.

John hung there for a few seconds and then made the rope snap, he fell but by then he had already slowed his heartreight so drasticly that it was undetectable and he had stopped breathing so he appeared dead when he hit the ground.

A doctor came and checked his pulse, and announced,"He's dead." Cai left the crowd and went down into the dungeon, to see if the princess was still there.

The princess was still sitting there, looking down. She closed her eyes.

The guards couldn't even get close to her without her freaking out. They turned to see Cai walking down the stairs.

Cai saw the princess in the corner, and knew something was wrong. He ran over to her. "Alice," he said, "are you okay?"

"I'm sorry Alice, I needed to make sure he wouldn't do anything to you again," Cai said gently.

"Don't ever leave me again!" She said, jumping up at him into a hug. Tears went down her face.

"I won't, I won't," Cai said, patting her with his good hand. He winced at the pain in his broken arm, glad it wasn't his sword hand.
